My family moved to the States in ‘95. They cam from Venezuela, a country full of beautiful landscapes, delicious cuisines, and oil? The idea for Fernandwichez started with the concept of sharing our culture with you. But like the US, Venezuela is a melting pot, so we were no strangers to cuisines from around the world. So we give you a taste of Venezuela, but hopefully provide a taste from home as well!

Our culturally inspired Hot Dog, The Mucuchí, gets it’s name from the National Dog in Venezuela the Mucuchíes. They are large, powerful, livestock dogs, similar to my first dog Kylo(an Australian Cattle Dog). Simón Bolívar(the Venezuelan equivalent of George Washington) owned a Mucuchí, name Nevado.

Through our Mucuchí, you get a taste of Venezuela: Onions, Shoestring Potatoes, Parmesan Cheese, Ketchup, Mustard, and our signature Garlic Sauce!
